This story riveted the nation. I think that it was the story that really put a face to the modern day bullying epidemic. RIP Phoebe, I am so sorry that your life had to end this way. I truly believe that the perpetrators are not just "bratty" teens, I think that their evil transcends age . These are sociopaths whom should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Anti Bullying...Kay Kay's Way: Bullying Lasts into Adulthood

I really loved reading this article by Dr. Linda Kennedy. A lot of times bullying is just talked about as an event that happens in our childhood and/or in our teenage years and then once we hit the age of twenty then...poof, we forget about everything that happened. Well, sadly that just is not the case. Bullying creates lasting effects, and many of the times post traumatic stress disorder in its victims. A great example of this is Demi Lovato. Demi is : pretty, rich, famous, talented, and cooler than any of her tormenters ever will be. However, this did not stop her from going through problems with self harm, post traumatic stress disorder, and eating disorders beyond her teen years. So, if any of you out there are struggling, make sure you reach out to a trusted source. If you have no one then try this source. I love you guys and stay blessed!

Edge Stick Update

Hey guys! So you might remember when I advertised for the edge stick . Well, I tried to order one today and the lady on the phone told me that they were no longer carrying the product in the USA. She continued to say with a crass attitude that this was due to some manufacturing problems ( she wouldn't get into specifics). When I heard this I was super sad lol. Once I got over it I decided that an alternative to this tool would be to use a mini flat iron from Sally's beauty supply. I will update you later on if it worked or not :)

Introducing Anti Bullying ... Kay Kay's Way

When I started this blog I did not just start it to talk about fashion, hair, skin care, celebrities, and hot topics. All of that stuff is great and fun , but at the end of the day I want to touch lives. That is why I include life tips to help empower the young women that read my blog. There have been TOO many people that have taken their lives and have developed severe mental complications from the effects of bullying. I myself was a victim of bullying when I was younger ( CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON THAT) and I decided that it is time to join the anti-bullying movement. If people use the world wide web to spread hate and be trolls, then I can spread love. One of my favorite celebrities is Demi Lovato ( yes I am a Lovatic) because she is so real!
