Life Tips: Forgiveness

Forgive: to cease to feel resentment against. For a lot of people this is a very hard concept to grasp. It can be hard to forgive those that have done you wrong. Those people that spread rumors about ,  those people that broke you down, those people that judged you harshly, those people that made you feel like you were nothing, are they really worth forgiving? The answer to that question, is yes. Harboring resentment is not healthy. The definition of resentment is : anger, bitterness, or ill will. Resentment is a bunch of negative energy and when you hold that in you block any good from coming to your life. Also, a thing to remember is that those that have hurt you have moved on, they don't even remember ( or care) about the evil that they have bestowed on others. So, when you have resentment  in your heart you are only hurting yourself, and that is stupid to do. Think of forgiving other people as doing yourself a favor. You are not saying that what they did was alright, but you are saying that you have moved on and wish them well. When you have a clean heart  the universe cannot help but put good in your direction. Once I started adopting this way of thinking I noticed a major difference in my life. Remember though that this is a process  that takes time, don't expect it to come in one day. Lastly, no one is perfect. We have all done something hurtful ( many times unknowingly) so remember that the same way you forgive others is the same way that others will forgive you.  Peace and stay blessed :)
